About Ashley
Ashley Wardell - Managing Director
Previous positions - Products Manager:
Products Manager Pearl Drums, this brought Ashley into contact with many name drummers, it also allowed him the opportunity to expand his knowledge of the industry by learning how the Japanese conduct their marketing strategies as well as handling the advertising concepts and arranging clinics, promotional tours.
Joined the Slingerland Drum Company in the U.S. as European Marketing, Sales and Artist Relations Manager. Organized and participated in clinics and worldwide promotional tours with the company's endorsee's.Arranged and conducted dealer seminars, expanded European outlets for Drumset & Marching Percussion incorporating Deagan tuned Percusssion.
Worked under Larrie Linkin (President of Slingerland) and later his successor Dick Richardson .
While with the company Ashley was very fortunate to have worked and gained experience with some of the great drummers of our time: Peter Erskine, Chad Wackerman, Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich, Carmine Appice, Steve Smith, Airto, Alex Acuna, Les DeMerle, Ed Thigpen even Animal from the Muppet Show to name but afew.
